Any news on the sequel?

Hi all, I skimmed through the indie world video today, I really expected some world of goo 2 news.

Do we know anything aside from the trailer from like a month ago? It's approaching 1 month release, I was just thinking we'd see more by now. I just wanted to ask in case I've been out of the loop.

What more news are you even expecting? It's announced and has a release date, and a list of what platforms it will be on. It's not coming to steam. There's literally no more information to be released.

Also your sense of time is way off. The trailer was 4 months ago, not a month ago. And the release date is 4 months from now, not a month from now.

I guess I was looking for like a 'world of goo 2 first ten minutes of gameplay' or something like that.

The trailer a month ago that I was thinking of was the release date reveal.

And it's coming out May 23 no? That's why I said it was approaching one month to release.

You could have looked a the website linked, literally the first line: August 2

World of Goo 2 is an upcoming physics-based puzzle video game developed by independent game developer 2D Boy. It is a sequel to World of Goo (2008). It will be released on August 2, 2024, after being delayed from its original release date of May 23, 2024.
