Opinion on Striders

Is it just me or are they realy creepy? i cant see one or i have to close the game is it just me?
ps i can cope with horrer games like dead space but this bothers me...
EDIT btw i dont own half life 2 i just own Gmod

I once had a frozen Strider, squatting and looking at one direction. Easy kill.
They are not creepy, they are @$@!*#$ hard.

Definitely not creepy or scary, but it's hard to imagine a creature like that walking around with just stick feet. They wouldn't have any grip.

I think they are a little bit annoying in HL2, but once you've got the magnusson device in EP2, they're challenging :D
