Lambda Locator Bug Fix?

I've heard this achievement might be bugged, which causes certain caches to not register properly. Right now I'm playing through "Follow Freeman" and I'm close to the final cache but my progress bar says I only have 43/45.

I went back to almost every cache and double checked but I still haven't found the missing one yet. I hear you can delete gamestate.txt to reset achievement counters, but that this also resets certain completed ones like Zombie Chopper.

Is there another way to fix this that wouldn't involve deleting this file? Are there certain caches that are weird which require you to do something other than just break the supply box or pick up items to register properly?

Look at one of many guides for this achievement in internet. You probably missed one somewhere. Maybe in canals? Sewer on left from bridge with barnacles. This one is hard to see.

I checked multiple guides. I definitely didn't miss anything. I ended up just deleting the file and resetting the achievement. Luckily I have enough save points that I'm never too far away from a cache.

Like I said, I ended up resetting that text file. I went back through the game and got all the caches. Zombie Chopper seems to have reset in-game, but not on my steam profile. I ended up playing through and getting the other three achievements, planning on going back and getting Chopper afterwards.

When I went to play Ravenholm over again Zombie Chopper was now unlocked under "achievements" in-game, but my overall achievement progress was listed as 32/32. There are supposed to be 33 in total. My steam profile also only has 32 completed.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. I guess I could try deleting that file again but at this point I'm pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tired of these issues.

There are 33 achievements. One is hidden. I do not specifically remember which one it is but it may be "Defiant" .

Yeah, it's Singularity Collapse. I forgot that one was hidden because I'm stupid. I have all 33 now.

Still, the Locator bug is a hug pain.

I found out that sometimes, the achievements don't pop up, but if you check in-game achievement progress you can see that it counted. In my case i was struggling with lamba no. 18 (last in water hazard) which didn't want to pop up, so I tried to reload the save multiple times and locate it again but nothing happened. Then i checked in-game achievements and it was counted in it ;). Maybe this could help to not reset achievements data :)

It's a trap! i have the exact same issue with lamdas 15 and 16. i dont want to reset, has anyone figured it out by now?
