Who agrees with me that they need to make hl2 ep 3 and hl3? if you agree type yes if not then type no.

Judging by the page, it's probably NOT fake, in the sense of how many people are working on HL3, that bit is true, and also I think now, HL3 will, and most obviously be the first '3' to come from Valve as well as first game on Source 2, as there is L4D3, and Portal 3 we should expect.

I heard something like that before. What is that interactive Motion Capturing anyway? I know there is this guy in the suit and you collect all the data from his movements so how do you want to make something like that interactive? I mean you needed the guy in the suit always arround you, connected to your game while you are playing. So technically this is impossible. It is even beyond logic. You cannot simply make something pre-recorded act like it was beeing processed in real-time. Its as you were trying to manipulate a video in real-time, which is not possible in the realm of reality.

I think it's not aboutt video manipulation, it's about how they manipulate an animation. In general you don't need mo-cap at all, but it makes animation mu-u-uch easier and faster

Did you even LOOK at the page for that game? It's an unofficial third-party mod. It's no more a game in the series than Black Mesa Source is.

Wow, This thread is seriously les than 100 posts away from reachng 4000 posts. Also nobody ever answered m question. Would portal making SMG granades be a good idea on the half life universe? Or maybee that blue bouncy and orange slick goop from portal 2 being in the grenades?

Hmm...well, I'm bored, it'll be ages before we'll get HL3, there is just too much conflicting information on the internet, we should, and I MEAN should only believe what Steam news says, not something on the internet which can totally lie about anything to make people annoyed. As for the Motion Capture, it shouldn't be hard for Valve to pull off, but they did tell us in their commentaries that each new technology they get takes at LEAST about a year to fully get used to and use it to their advantage, let's just hope they take less time and get better with new tech faster, so we can have HL3 on our doorstep sooner than we think, these things take time!
