Problem with the server browser

I haven't played any CS in multiplayer so i didn't check, but Gmod works fine, but i tried playing The Hidden wich is a source mod in multiplayer, and for some reason when i try to browse servers there are none, i can't refresh, and it says that i'm currently in offline mode, wich is not the case obviously.

I don't know if i missed something when installing the mod ( it's an automatic installshield type of thing so i shouldn't have ) or if i was supposed to modify the master servers or what, but i can't find any advice on this on the internet.

I want to try some other mods such as NeoTokyo etc, and i actually don't really know if there are any servers running for this game but if i can't even use the legacy browser then there's no point...

I did that but still The Hidden isn't working. The browser tells me i'min offline mode.
