Sandtraps Glitch

[Rigby The Hamboner]

The game keeps crashing during the Combine attack (defending the lighthouse). Whenever the second dropship comes, the game stops responding and crashes. I tried searching for a solution via Google but most of the bugs listed were during the ant swarm parts. Is there no other way but to restart the chapter?

Solved it. I just had to reload the autosave for that part. Didn't have any problems anymore.

Yep. I've had this bug too. And another one with it: After you destroy gunship from the lighthouse top, you should go downstairs and someone of the resistance soldiers should tell you that you need to go by the cliffs, through a secret passage and then go down and open hidden door, but if all resistance soldiers are dead - you'll get stuck, because you can't open that door yourself.
Loading autosave always fixes that problem. (It's interesting to watch how one res. soldier appears out of nowere and rushes to the lighthouse. :) )

^This. That part is extremely glitchy. I always try to rush through those dropships, trying to ambush Combine forces when they get out of the box just to save the resistance forces.

I was able to get past the crash simply by standing somewhere else when the dropship arrives.
