Added settings to enable classic Half-Life 2 original effects?

What is the difference between enabled and disabled?

Best guess? Disabling radial fog in highway 17, maybe some lighting changes too?

The classic effects just look a lot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than the newer ones. So like fire, the current fire effects look quite good even for today. But the classic version is very pixelated and looks like crap

The classic effects option will use fire and blood animations from the original retail release of the game.
