Bring back episodes 1,2 to our profile games list

Valve have just removed episodes 1,2 from our profile game list, along with playtime history, but decided to keep trashy (for me) deathmatch there. Thank you so much valve.
Ok, you decided to merge episodes with the main game, but why remove them from our game list? Could have kept them for history.

Yeah but it's not the same is it? They don't come up in the list of Games in the Library anymore. They can't sit next to Half Life 2 in the Favourites category anymore. Some of us Like the look of collections of things (it sparks something in our Lizard/Monkey brains to gather things together like that)

Ah ha, actually never mind, I didn't realises you could check the Tools checkbox and see them in the Library XD

I know they're tools now.
But I'm talking about profile game list, not my library.

I wish I could still get them, I have the VR mods but thats it. Ik that theyve been merged into base game, but I want the extra completions.

I agree that this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ move seen as they didn't do the same for blue shift and apposing forces when they overhauled hl1. I will also miss seeing these in my game library. I liked the ability to have these as standalone games especially so for the steam deck. My library just got a little bit smaller and a little bit sadder 😔

Also sad to see nothing extra given for the people who owned ep1 and 2. Not even a fancy steam profile background. I get they haven't been taken away from me but sort of feels like a part of them have.

it´s 36 achievements for free!
I just dont get why Valve wasnt able to just merge the episodes achievements into the games achievement list including the time of date when they were achieved?
(I honestly dont know why the episodes had to be seperate in the first place?)
Why does it need to look like you used SAM?

They have removed the community hub: all discussion forums of the Episodes, screenshots, artworks, guides are all missing now!

Notice: At the request of the publisher, Half-Life 2: Episode Two is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search.

I agree, it's not very convenient to have the Episodes under the tools section, they should replace them under the games section, and so, they will appear again in the profile game list, along with the hours played.
