Didn't get my achievements back when starting the game

Did you guys get this error cause i can't even open the achievement menu in each games menu......

No, I could check the achieves for the games, EP1 said 0/13 and EP2 as I said only gave me Gnome Alone

Great so it's broken for me of course.....
(restarted steam and everything)

Just to be clear the in game menus say that when i click on them for all 3 games,
the steam overlay trophy menu works normally.

Guess the guide doesn't say anything about that??.....

Where exactly should the trophies pop for the Episodes?!??!
When you go to each games menu or do you have to load into the actual game/level for them to pop???

(do they all pop at once?, or just all of them per episode so 2 different batches?)

They should just pop in the main menu of Half-Life 2 after you've started the Episodes the way the guide says

Same here, i had 100% in both EP1 and 2, only got Gnome Alone and nothing else.
Update: I got my achievements back by first launching the original version and then the new one.

i launched OG Episode 2 from tools and relaunched Half-Life 2 did nothing loaded into levels still nothing, the achievement menu is completely broken and is what i assume you need working for them to pop.

Don't even know if i can just play the episodes again to re earn them if the menu won't open....
(i can't even open the achievement menu in OG Episode 2 gives me the same error)
Gnome Alone the one that pops for everyone didn't even unlock for me so i have to assume trophies are completely broken....

Yep as usual i get an error that no one else gets so almost no way to trouble shoot it
and what makes it even more annoying is i had Half-Life 2 already completed over a decade ago....

Way to not only "fix" what isn't broke but then break it Valve......

At least still have my originals, although hidden away annoyingly...................................
