Any way to change the crosshair color?
I've been playing this game with the rift recently and I'm noticing I can't see the crosshair at all when It's up against bright surfaces . Does anyone know of a way to change the color of the crosshair? any files I can change or anything?

Any information is much appreciated.

In SteamApps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\resource, there's a cursor file there that serves as the game's crosshair. I imagine you can find or make something and replace it with that, but I don't know where you'd start.

Actually, I don't think that's it. It doesn't really look like the cursor you find in-game and you might not be able to replace or modify the crosshair without unpacking the .vpk files in the game directory(in other words, steampipe happened).
Well anyway, here's a webpage for modifying and creating cursor files if you want to try it out. Let me know how it works out for you.

Know this is a 6, nearly 7 year old thread but from my investigations, the normal "plushair" as the game calls it is in /Half-Life 2/hl2/resource/hl2crosshairs.ttf/ stored as the letter Q.
