*SPOILERS* Who/what is the G-man?

OK so before I state my theory, I'll first say that obviously this isn't one of those dumb "hurr durr Gman is Gordon Freeman from the future" threads.

What I will say though is that the Gman is DEFINITELY Gordon Freeman.
From the future.

I mean, think about it... it's obvious, let's look at the evidence:

- Both characters feature in the Half Life series of games. This alone almost SCREAMS that they're the same person. Including them both in the same series is obviously a HUGE clue left for us by Valve RIGHT BACK FROM THE VERY FIRST GAME!!

- If A = 1, B = 2, C = 3 etc then Gman is 7 13 1 14. And #713114 as a colour in the RGB space is 44.3% red (CLEARLY signifying the ginger notes in Gordon's beard), and then 19.2% GREEN and 7.8% BLUE!!! This unquestionably shows that the adding of a blue hue from Gordon's pure green to Gman's greeny blue eyes occurs sometime between the end of Episode 2 and the future.

We KNOW that Gman has slightly more blue eyes than Gordon, after all isn't that the reason some people give for why Gman ISN'T Gordon Freeman in the future?!
Well now those naysayers have been hoisted by their own petard!
Those VERY EYES combined with my foolproof letters-to-numbers-to-hexadecimal-colour system PROVE beyond doubt that Gman is Gordon.

I predict much of Half Life 3 will centre on how Gordon (past Gordon, not future Gordon AKA Gman) came to get 7.8% blue pigmentation in his eyes. Subjected to experiments?! A temporarily blinding and permanently eye-colour-changing nuclear flash?! Slight change of weather?! ALIENS?!?

- Gman ends with the letter N. So do BOTH of Gordon Freeman's names. DOUBLE PROOF!!

- GORDON DOESN'T SPEAK!! Well of COURSE he doesn't, it would give the game away that Gordon and Gman are the same person! That's EXACTLY WHY Gordon doesn't talk, because if he did, we'd notice it's the same voice, the same voice actor, THE SAME CHARACTER!!

- Both of them don't wear top hats.

Some people say that because Gman and Gordon Freeman look different, it means they aren't the same person.
Well may I suggest Michael Jackson as evidence to the contrary?
He didn't look the same in 1992 as he did in 1982 but he was still Michael Jackson.

And also the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles look totally different now to how they looked in 1990 but Donatello is still Donatello, Raphael is still Raphael etc.

Heck, none of you probably look the same as when you were a baby but you're still YOU!
And the FACT that you are still you basically PROVES that Gman is Gordon Freeman!!

I think I've forensically evidenced my case beyond much doubt now but like I say, and it bears repeating, I'll step back slightly from saying that Gman IS Gordon Freeman from the future but I WILL go so far as to say that Gman is Gordon Freeman.

Gordon Freeman does not speak has nothing that is Gman, Valve has made a character "dumb" because he wanted in the role of Gordon Freeman was us (players) and then impersonate him.

I think Gman is another kind of alien, never seen on Half-Life, and that it is an alien VERY powerful, and that Vortigaunts fear him, in episode 1 Vortigaunt unlock the mind control of Gman on Freeman, and then the important person of the game now is Alyx Vance.

Gman appears in the end of Half-Life 2 by saying that we did well and who no longer has the services of Gordon Freeman, if Gman is Gordon Freeman Freeman hold because in the tower (which is about to explode and then kill him) and then kill himself?

You won't know until the future whether your voice will end up sounding like Gman.

Gman knew that Episodes One and Two were already in development at Valve, so he knew Gordon (i.e. himself) wouldn't die.

As stated, I assigned each letter a number based on its position in the alphabet.(AKA The Jackson 5 system - ABC = 123)

I then use the resulting number, 713114, to ascertain which RGB colour this number relates to (http://www.colorhexa.com/713114)

However, I do believe you have unwittingly stumbled upon YET MORE PROOF that Gman is Gordon Freeman!! (from the future)

So, as you rightly say, Gman in hexadecimal coding is 47 6d 61 6e.
If we remove the letters "d" and "e" (which, not coincidentally, are the two letters that come DIRECTLY before F and G in the alphabet... F G = Freeman Gordon) we are left with 476616.

4 + 7 + 6 + 6 + 1 + 6 = 30
Remember that, thirty.

Now, Gordon Freeman was 27 years old at the beginning of Half Life.
He is a Level THREE Research Associate and is accommodated in the Level THREE Dormitories.
And what do we get if we add 27 and 3?! That would be 30.
YES, THIRTY!!

The Half Life universe is somewhat space-themed, or "spacey" if you will.

The actor Kevin Spacey starred in last year's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Call of Duty is a first-person shooter series, so is Half Life.

Kevin Spacey also starred in the movie "The Usual Suspects", in which he played Verbal Kint.
The character was nicknamed Verbal BECAUSE HE DIDN'T SPEAK A LOT!

Verbal Kint was an ordinary guy being led into dangerous situations by the mysterious boss-like figure, Keyser Soze.

Sounds familiar, huh?!

Well, guess what? Turns out Verbal Kint WAS Keyser Soze.

And here's the smoking gun...
