Does Half Life still have a physical copy?

Hello fellow players, i was just wondering, to ask does Half Life still have physical copies in real life as a CD to buy somewhere online and such? Like Half Life CD box by BestSeller Series? In case you wonder why do i want to know this despite having bought Half Life on steam, basically im a game collector in real life and i think it would be great to have it as a physical copy in my collection since its my passion to collect such things.

HL1 or HL2?

For HL1, it is possible to find normal and The Game of The Year Edition CDs for PC. HL1 also has an official PS2 port so it would be possible to find it's disc too.
I believe the expansion packs are there too.

For HL2, originally it was released on Steam only for PC. No CD. However, it was re-released with The Orange Box back in 2007 for PC (might be Steam-only I'm not sure), PS3 and Xbox360.

Well, im looking for both Half Life 2 as from orange box re released, and HL1 as CD. Both for PC

That is incorrect, there were multiple big box releases for Half-Life 2. The discs just installed the game and added the game to your steam account so they are pretty much useless, but still a cool item to have in a collection.

Half life 2 in the UK had a physical disc set at retail, however the game was just a code to add to steam and i am not sure if there was anything physically on the disc install wise whether it was the full game or just part downloaded. I still have that on my shelf. It is in a dvd sized box in the UK.

I can confirm The Orange box is the same.

First time I played the game was in 2007/08 when I got the Xbox port at a local game store. Garry's Mod is what made me get a PC after that came out and I had a friend who played on PC. See yah 360! Lol

I did also have The Orange Box on Xbox 360, but moving to Steam and playing those games with my friend was a huge night and day difference! Still nostalgic as heck though

My first introduction to the game was my buddies 5 disc set lol I was a little young when Half-Life 1 came out, I was into games like Runescape and Flash games.

I do have a HALF LIFE 2 cd somewhere at my parents house. I remember it had an installer. idk if its genuine or not, its 15 years+ old and has a print on the upper side.

HL1 had a normal Cd with 6 different publishers and box arts and a normal game of the year adition there was also a platinum collection that included HL1 all of the expansion packs,Team fortress classic and counter strike that had 2 versions. There was also another pack called "the adrenaline pack" that included HL1 it's expansion packs and Team fortress Classic. There was also a ps2 port for hl1. All of HL1's expansion packs also got sold separately and also got lot's of versions. Another game of the year edition featured as "Best seller", yet another game of the year adition that additionaly included Team fortress classic, another game of the year addition with a different box art and different art on the disk, a chinese edition, Ofcourse another game of the year edition that was only sold in Spain and included a metal gold colored figurine but there was also an American version with a
metal figurine that was actually covered wih real gold paint! And half life:generation.
HL2 had A 5 disk set that had 3 different box arts, a Special edition that included HL1 Source, then also a collectors box that included HL2 a hat, 3 posters and the ost. And another collectors edition sold in a metal box that had 3 variants a bronze one a silver one and a gold one (not real gold,silver or bronze) then there was a Xbox port (orange box) then also a game of the year edition, "Best game ever made" edition, Xbox port (seperate), a Japanese edition and chinese edition, also japanese arcade port, also 2 more collectors editions (No idea what they included because I don't have them). The episodes of half life also had seperate versions and packs such as the half life:episodic pack...

I have Half-Life 2 on DVD which you had to buy and steam activated it.
