where do the half life games take place in the world

i dicided to replay the half life franchise again and since then i was wondering in where exatly on the earth does half life franchise take place

1 takes place in New Mexico in 'murica.
2 takes place in Eastern Europe.

First game and it's expansions take place in 1998 New Mexico.
Second game takes you to Russia-like Europe in 2018.

The Half-Life 1 games are set somewhere in New Mexico, the year is supposed to be 200X but it has been re-retconed a couple times, so it's pretty much up to what you believe. And the HL2 games are set somewhere in eastern Europe; you won't find an exact place because they used a bunch of different cities for references. There isn't an official date, either, but they've always referred to it as "almost 20 years" after the Black Mesa incident.
