crowbar achievement

please can anyone help.

ive owned this game since the day it was released on steam.
cant remember when achievements were added but ive never once gotten the Trusty Hardware 'get the crowbar' achievement.. ive played enough times while signed into steam to get it, why the fudge is it not unlocking.

im guessing, hoping that its granted when you pick up the crowbar that barney drops for you..

Reinstall and start over while connected to the interweb? Thats my best guess.

If the achievement shows as unlocked on the in-game menu, then you can use this fix:

just been in game . ingame list of achievements says still locked, which is frankly bizarre given the number of times ive (gotten the crowbar) from barney.. i just started a new game played right through to kleiners lab and teleporting. barney drops the crowbar which i pick up and no achievement ..
