achievements with mods

Does playing with a mod disable the achievements? Asking this because I wanna do the gnome achievement and planning to download jalopy for gnome mod to do so.

U can't earn achievements with active mods ( i think) idk if something had changed..
I suggest to watch some videos and Save a lot of times during your journey with the gnome

This is the more accurate reply OP, not sure what Pepperoni's talking about because mods shouldn't interfere with achievements, the only exception to that would be ones that REQUIRE you to use sv_cheats in order to use them, then in which case you can kiss your achievements goodbye because sv_cheats will 100% disable them while it's on.

I thought it wouldn't let you unlock them ( like old games with cheats ) infact i wasn't sure about

You're not going crazy are you? People discovered that if you have 40 mods then things start breaking.

I still managed to unlock some achievements, beside there's a few that aren't unlocking, but seems to be a 10 years old bug with the game.
A dude even made a guide about that.

imagine being "pepperoni" and going crazy for hours and hours to do everything legit because you are convinced that cheats do not make you gain achievements.

I use cosmetic mods, including a few that adds extra maps I could play later.
I think the only mod that actually did change the gameplay experience was the one that made boxes round (beside I'd say it makes the game a bit harder, even more if you have to climb on them).
