The creators of the secret level tv show asked valve if they could make an episode on half life. Valve said no. And so did Microsoft to the doom and halo crossover for the same thing.

Thank god Doom and Halo never got a crossover, Doom doesn't deserve to be associated with that trash. (Old Halo was good and a crossover would have been cool back in the day, modern Halo is trash.)

You say that like a TV show is a high quality standard and not just antiquated junk form of entertainment. It's all the same stuff, people watch Prime and Netflix on their TVs, so it's a TV show.

I wouldn't trust Secret Level, not after they did the Unreal Tournament episode where they scrapped everything about Xan from the games and replaced it with some dumb generic robot model with an Xbox for a head.

If Valve let them do Half-Life, they'd probably make the HEV suit and the Combine look even goofier than the ♥♥♥♥ in HL2:Survivor.

We've got some half life series on YouTube and I kinda see why Valve doesn't like them.
