When is HL3 going to be announced?

Half-Life 2 Episode 2's release date was closer to the release date of Wolfenstein 3-D than the release of Half-Life 3

Don't know when it'll be announced, or if it'll even be HL3, but there's something in the works set in the HL/Portal universe, their stories are mixed together in the games, same universe.

During game awards many new cool games are announced, so maybe just maybe Half Life 3 will also get announced. And also the host of this game awards is personally friends with many people from valve

I predict Half-Life 3 won't be announced until it is feature and design complete, and just in quality pass to finalize. Based on other information, we may be surprised, and get the announcement sometime in 2025.
