What games do you think are as good as Half-Life: 2?

they are very different but i remember playing both games back in 2004 and people today dont know how much of a big deal doom 3 was, it did so many things never done before.

doom 3 is overrated as hell (ironically), it's a mediocre clone of half-life 1, stale screamers, confusing locations, all levels except the last look the same, boring shooting, and it doesn't look like doom either.

its a clastrophobic horror game. thats the whole point. it dosent suppose to be like the original doom. its a new take on doom and its a damm good game. and actually its the game that inspired dead space
