What games do you think are as good as Half-Life: 2?

I want to play another game like Half-Life 2 so i need some recommendations

go through those rare/n64 shooters, GoldenEye 64 and perfect dark, time splitters and turok etc if you can.

System shock 2 is an obvious one, but really anything out of that developer is great.

I kinda liked breakdown for the original xbox and prey 2006.

And also Deus ex 1 is the gamer's game.

There's the HL2 story mods called Entropy Zero 1 and 2, where you play as the Combine rather than Gordon Freeman or the rebels. The reviews are good.

As for FPS games as good or maybe better than HL2. I guess those like...
Halo, Borderlands, Bioshock, Deus Ex.

they are very different but i remember playing both games back in 2004 and people today dont know how much of a big deal doom 3 was, it did so many things never done before.

they are very different but i remember playing both games back in 2004 and people today dont know how much of a big deal doom 3 was, it did so many things never done before.

doom 3 is overrated as hell (ironically), it's a mediocre clone of half-life 1, stale screamers, confusing locations, all levels except the last look the same, boring shooting, and it doesn't look like doom either.

I've found a game that I feel is better than Half-Life in all its editions. Dishonored 2...It allows for numerous ways to achieve the goals set forth. Go to the store and check out the preview of the game in the videos. Just search for Dishonored 2 in the top right of the main page. The game is massive!

i'd say its underrated because people like him don't undesrtand the true greatness of it that's why they made every subsequent doom game an arcade borderlands clone

I said many of those, not all of them. And the ones I listed basically are as good as HL2.
