Follow Freeman chapter broke at sniper part :(

Soo during the beginning of the chapter called "follow freeman!" i went through the snipers and got to the roof and I only Saw 1 Sniper Only. I killed 1 sniper and barney isnt coming down cause the SECOND sniper was missing.

I need help.

Some Help I used and didnt work:

-verify the Cache

-turn off beta and then verify the cache (thanks for trying tho kill-cam)

-uninstall and reinstall

(note:I set my half life 2 to beta)

well this is what i get for killing the snipers After the ravenholm,a game breaking buuug

refer to the answer if you think barney jumps down from the roof/ you think you killed all the snipers but havent been to the same floor barney is on

I'm replaying HL2 right now, and I'm having the exact same problem... It's frustating because I can't advance in the game anymore...

Try uninstalling HL2, then re-installing it. Then load up an autosave from a bit before you left off, maybe from the start of the chapter. Also, maybe find some cheats to fix it or search for the glitch it might be a common game-breaking glitch :)

Well, you could go into the files and delete the map and all that, then verify the files. It worked for me when ctf_2fort corrupted in TF2.

The map called ctf_2fort broke in TF2?

if none of the above works and you're desperate to finish the game, just unlock all chapters by going to keyboard settings, then to advanced, enabling developer cheats, go in game and press the tilde key, ( ` ), type "sv_cheats 1" then "sv_unlockedchapters 15". I just started straight from Our Benefactors, I thought Follow Freeman was an annoying chapter anyway, allies keep getting in the way...

I am sorry, i thought enabling cheats would disable archievements?
