Report a translation problem
1.) Reset your controls to default.
2.) Disable the 360 controller but keep it plugged in.
3.) Reset the game.
4.) Renable the controller.
5.) Then clear the buttons for the extra weapons.
6.) Reset the game again.
I have the same problem and I'm not used to mouse and keyboard, so I feel your pain. Doing this works for me, so try it.
this does work however I does kinda mess up the wepons selection abit (crowbar now in catagory 3 etc.) but it's ok when using game pad however I'd still like to see if i can get it working with out this fix (curiosity reasons etc.)

I did try the beta version but sadly no help there
if your talking about have two weapons slots for each direction then your forgeting about the wepons that are shown diagonally
