Half-Life 2 RTX

It is possible to play Half-Life 2 RTX With GTX GPU? I have nvidia gtx 1060 3gb card but when I launch hl2 rtx project it shows an error my gpu doesn't support rtx

I can play Half-Life Alyx NO VR Mod at ultra settings on 60 fps without having any lag issues same with black mesa I have no lag issues on ultra settings but I cannot run 20 years old game remake project with my outdated gtx gpu there is any solution to fix that?

RTX is just a brand name, not a rendering technique.

Any GPU capable of Ray Tracing and Vulkan API can run RTX Remix modded games (even AMD), wether you get a good experience is another story.

With a GTX 1060 it will be a slideshow.

No you probably won't be able to play, only with a gfx card that supports ray tracing etc.

As someone who's used RTX through messy means on a 1070... I wouldn't, especially with 3GB VRAM, I promise it won't be a good experience, especially since there's no dedicated hardware for it. As someone with a 3060 now, it doesn't run well even on this one (which is a bummer, not gonna lie). For reference, on my current machine, Portal With RTX for me at all low settings and DLSS at Ultra Performance in 1080p barely struggles to maintain 30 FPS tops.
