Yeah I always wondered why is it so hard for Valve to add an actual Store and Community page for it? I mean it's a fun little addition to Half-Life series that deserves to have an ability to be actually seen by people on Steam.

It doesn't have a store page because the dev team that made it is long gone and there's a link to their website in the game, which now goes to a porn site or something. Valve can't change the game, so it doesn't have a store page.

Valve can change the game easily, it's an Adobe Flash Player game which can be edited easily, atleast changing that link won't be too hard, also technically Valve owns it now since this game uses their IP as a base and original creators probably don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about this game anymore and I don't think they will even try (or even can) sue Valve for it.

Nah, it's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for Valve to make changes to someone else's game without permission, even if it's a fangame based on Valve's IP. Even if they won't get sued for it or whatever.

IMO, they shouldn't steal a fangame, the current thing where you can still download it if you type in a url is fine.

they could buy it but nobody cares about it either way

I would love to see it here but I don't think Valve would unethically ripped and modify other people's games without their permission to cater to us 1% of the playerbase with the excuse of "we own the IP so we can overrule the tiny original dev because we're Valve".

Either way, nobody cares because nobody has anything to gain or lose, except Valve's professional image. The same can be said to other games based on Valve's games created by indie devs. Valve should put all of them on Steam if they are going down this path.

I'd love to see this game get its own entry. Was a cute little game back in the day.

Why would you need a permission to slightly edit someone's 20 years old game whose devs don't even care about it anymore and probably forgot about it? And Valve have every right to appropriate this game now since it's literally completely based on their IP and is pretty much Shareware.
