YET Gordon gets no beer through the course of 3 games to be exact! And once Barney is on the escape tram , hes gone , and we never get that beer;

So heres my argument full:

Barney is Gmen since Gmen wants to keep an closer eye on Gordon , we can´t have Gordon deviate from his job to destroy the combine and free the advisors? Also hes an advisor;

The reason you see both barney and gmen on red latter day is because gmen is twisting the reality around gordon to make sure his cover is convincing enough; Also can you notice how gmen cutscenes are the only ones that you can´t move? Yeah hes that powerfull

Also we never see Barney after episode 1 , he legit just dipped , and then after we got the vort blue thing guess whos back to talk with us?

In half-life alyx , the gmen has unused animations where he is seen micking the way gordon freeman moves to deceive alyx to opening the vault for him and that still is present on the final game;

Whos to say Gmen din´t do that with Barney? is %100 possible , he can shape-shift dude;

Since hes alien he also can fake accents and speech patherns to deceive others

Ok mimicking the motions of another person doesn't require shapeshifting abilities, and now he can fake accents and speech patterns just because he's an alien? is this some kind of science fiction now? we can just make up whatever powers we want? without a meticulously planned set of lore breadcrumbs and easter eggs leading up to this big reveal? no ser that is not the Gaben way

Barney´s not our friend since he never gave Freeman the beer he owe´d us and hes probably gmen because gmen can do whatever he wants to push his employees agendas , time travel is the least powerfull thing he can do
