Why can I not see episode 1 or 2 in my library, where did they go?

they're under 'tools' now. the games got merged into the base game. hl2 deathmatch is still separate, i assume because no one knows how to fix it.

So if I fire up the base game they will be on the main menu or something?

yeah and there's a weird occlusion effect loading screen transition to each of them too, and you have to start the original tools version of the games and then the base game for your achievements in those to carry over to this new bundle.
