Episode 1 and 2 missing from library

I swear I had played them, I remember a few years ago doing almost all the achievements for hl2, ep1 and ep2. (I even ran through hl1, op and blueshift)

I recently started gaming again and was looking at my library and could not find ep1 or 2. They were not in my library and if i went to the store I could click on them and leave a review or buy it...

Has anyone experienced this?

I just bought the orange box 10 minutes ago, went to my library and episode 1 and 2 are there, I click on them and it says "last played 2020" ... Lmao what happened??

Usually buying a package that contains something you already own just gives you everything else in the package. When you went to check out it would of warned you that you already own some of the products in the package and are unable to purchase them. I can see from your achievements that you have indeed played episode 1+2 back in 2020 so I suspect you may of had the wrong filter set in your library or that you may have accidentally hidden them.

In 2020 were you using Family Sharing to play the episodes from someone else's Library?

If you owned either Half-Life 2 or Half-Life 2: Episode One prior to buying The Orange Box, you should have received giftable extra copies of those games:

The "Account" section of Steam should show details of your game licences and purchases:
