playing on Asus Rog Ally - Air-boat gun key unbound ?
Iv'e been playing through HL2 again on the Asus Rog Ally, Which is basically like a steamdeck, but a handheld PC.
Most of the controls work great. But in the air-boat section after the gun is attached, I get a notification saying the air-boat gun key is unbound.
And I can't find an option for it in the options menu to bind the key to the controller input.
Iv'e noticed that the drive forward key on the air-boat is also the main gun trigger key ?

Idk. Does anyone have this problem on steamdeck. is there a way to fix it ?

I was encountering the same issue when trying to use an xb series controller on PC. After the gun was attached to the boat, I'd get in and get the "Key Unbound" message. Turns out that the key bindings can be set in the game's menu page in Steam itself. Not in-game.

If, in the games home page, you click on the controller icon next to the settings gear, it will show you options to choose controller layout types, and also create your own custom bindings. For me, Steam actually had me defaulted to playing on a Steam Deck, so I just had to switch the controller selection to a "standard" gamepad... From there I was able to tweak stuff to how I liked it.

I'm not 100% how well the layout stuff works on an ROG Ally, but this is how you get to the bindings. I was originally trying to do this in-game in the menu under "Keyboard", and would just never find what I was looking for, which I think is what happens to most people looking at other posts

Unfortunately, there is no "mounted gun" option...
