Half-Life 2 mod recommendations for mods that restore cut content

Could I get some recommendations for mods that restore cut content back into the game?This content could range from just cut content in general to beta content.
Side note: I don't have the game yet, I'm waiting for a sale and plan to play it vanilla for my first playthrough and then use modded content in future playthroughs
