Half-Life 2 RTX?

They did Portal... i'd really like to see this with RTX, i don't really wanna play Portal again just to use the RTX feature, but i replay the Half-Life series every few years so it would be cool to play with new GPU features.

They say it's early on in the project in the youtube description though, and they are looking for more modders to join, i hope this isn't one of those Black Mesa things that takes a decade to finally come out.

Looks great, although it appears it could be a separate project to the forthcoming and officially Valve sanctioned Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection.

I'm just praying to the heavens above the CPU & GPU requirements for it are least somewhat REASONABLE and not astronomically through the roof. Don't need another Remnant 2 type incident where upscaling is mandatory. And yes I'm well aware Remnant 2 was made on a different engine (UE5) but the point still stands. Neither upscaling OR frame generation should be mandatory to get stable or playable frame rates.

What's your setup? I'm lucky i just upgraded my PC parts, but it shouldn't be that taxing on your PC, i guess it depends on how much they try and show off with the tech in certain parts of the game.
