Alyx is ugly and annoying

Everytime she says something it's someting cringeworthy. Episode Two would've been epic if she wasn't in it. She basically follows you from the beginning to the end. It's one of the reasons I don't care that HL3 is dead. The voice acting is forced and something of the worst I've seen.

Alyx is obnoxious and annoying char, the worst char in all the HL games, a char that ruined both episodes. She was fine in HL2 though. I ignore episodes anyway... worthless crap that never should be produced. New maps are not worth all the crap that came with them. Like Alyx the annoying follower, or the ending of EP2. I'll just sitck to HL2 only thanks.

Truth, he's a pysicist with phd in a powered suit carrying 10 diff weps and can't open his own doors without Alyx and her sparkly sonic screwdriver. Except for armored security doors a launcher rnd and or a grenade or 2 should bust the door let alone the walls

Alyx is okay in her own way, to be honest. She isnt that badass or eyecandy, but that's the thing. She is human with her own flaws. This is why I adore and like the way she's put in. Escorting shouldnt be a problem unless you're getting her shot a lot, which regardless of her 'regenerating plot device' health will run out eventually. No matter how she might look scripted, the actor shows her humanity rather well with her voice, and I prefer that to the other games that I've seen most of the time, no matter the 'fantasy' setting it is.

Anyway, since Epistle 3 is a thing, well.. It's a shame for a plot to not in a video game format, that plot twist was about to go rather interesting.
