Walk (Slow) Not Working
I remapped the key for walking slow to the SHIFT key but it doesn't work. Didn't even work when it was set to the default ALT key. Can’t sprint either. Is there only one speed in the beginning levels?

Walk does work, it's just that the speed is very close to the normal speed.
Change in the console "hl2_walkspeed" (I normally set it to around 80-90)

If you don't have the HEV suit you will always be walking so you will have to load a save for it to update in-game.
