As for game play what is Alex doing that doesn't slow things down? HL2 is a great FPS and in Alex you get to work a hand crank. Alex is more about immersion and not about better game play.
Doesn't matter if Sovereign has. For the most part if you want the best of the best experience on VR, the Index is the best bet. Other than that HTC is expensive and for some, not a whole lot of people trust Facebook and their Meta/Oculus ilk. Since PSVR isn't on PC without some work, there aren't many options for now, so yes, VR is still expensive for most.
I'd say as far as innovation goes, HL2 was a much bigger leap than what Half-Life: Alyx brought to the table. That is not to say HL: Alyx didn't innovate, but I'm sure you've seen the popularity of physics that we take for granted in video games today. You have Half-Life 2 to thank for that, among other features.
Then you should buy it and play it. Both Half-life 2 and its Episodes are well worth the experience. They even get very cheap on Steam sales for the entire Valve collection.
May be.
Holy run on sentences Batman!
Seriously, if you are not going to have the brain for grammar, I am not going to take anything you say seriously. You are vomiting out whatever the hell this is, and you are doing yourself a major disservice with your horrid lack of grammar. Even if what you are saying has weight and merit to it, you ability to communicate that is absolutely trashing the attempt.
Honestly if you think you are a smart guy, either from School, or being didactic, you are badly needing to understanding the language in which you are trying to communicate your ideas. Be better than this.
I've spent thousands of hours listening, watching, and reading everything I can about futurism and the technological singularity. I can say, especially since I also study storytelling, that you fall folly to a particular fallacy of looking for a Boogey Man where there isn't one. Your fears, concerns, and stresses get addressed once you dive deep into the subject, and not just dip your toe into it. It's vast, and far to deep for you to have an elementary standing, and have anything other than an opinion on the subject. Much like the topic, the difference between a conclusion, and an opinion, IS VAST.
Without will, without curiosity, all will result in stagnancy. Power, and control will be decentralized, along with information. These things along with various technological breakthroughs, Material Science advancements, create an insane amount of factors to take into mind. I could damn near write a book on it in here, but let me just say this. The lead in to Transhumanism, Augmented Intelligence, is the death knell for the elites in control of the world now.
Dipping your toes into this subject doesn't make you a scholar. You have an opinion. Recognize you are limiting yourself with that.
As for the Technocrats, not all are on equal intellectual grounds. NGT is mostly brilliant in his field of Astro Physics, which he still gets some things wrong on, but he is retarded when it comes to most other topics, especially Politics. Elon Musk is a persevering visionary, who has the very important skill at recognizing potential. However he is absolutely retarded when it comes to Women. His take on Politics is far more grounded than most other Technocrats as you liken them to. You can't lump them all together.
However when it comes to Simulation Theory, rooted in Nick Bostrom's work, even he treats it as a possibility, not a sure thing. However as brilliant as he is, there are a myriad of factors that take it apart.
Just for one, the sheer size of the program to run such a simulation would be mind boggling large. If it could even be done, the purpose of it would never be logical. Are we all players if so, or am I the only player? If we are all players, why is there so much cruelty allowed? Such sheer corruption, or evil if you accept that word... Why allow such horrid things to be done, to be allowed? If the simulation was made, it is the same as religion and God, someone, something, created it, and set the parameters... Something is in charge. If there is something in charge, if this is a simulation, it can't be proven or disproven, only understood for the rules. I see no point in bothering with dwelling on it for very long. It doesn't matter. If the simulation ends, or if my life ends, and I am judged by it, ♥♥♥♥ them. I define how I live, and I don't care if it's a God, or some technological Creator.
It's a moot focus. It is futile, and therefore retarded to entertain at length. There are far too many other thought experiments to get lost in that bare some fruit. Diving into Simulation Theory doesn't bare any fruit. It is a barren thought experiment. In the end, it was just a waste. It is comparison with the entertaining idea of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It's all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If it cannot be proven, or disproven, it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Proving a negative is generally a complete waste of time.
To be fair when someone says hl2 is better than HL:A just because they dont like VR, its not much of a reason or a comparison.
Which FIFA game is best ? None coz I hate all football games!
It doesn't work well does it?
Naaahh, i guess this is just how he asks or at least try, to hook an VR or something, politely it seens, but instead he get you guys to help him, like if for example, if i ask for this store to sell an game that they're not selling or something. Guess there is no need to be rude or stupid with someone because of it.
Nope, it's an sequel to HL
