You can kill Eli Vance

In Nova Prospekt, you can kill Eli Vance via an auto-turret. In chapter "Entanglement" at the combine teleporter. You need to carry an auto-turret from the previous map because those what are in the room are only accessible after Eli is teleported away.

The auto-turret detects Eli as a hostile and kills him. After that, the NPCs won't move or talk and nothing will happen.

If you kill Eli Vance in the right time, the game will go on and he will be dead on the floor. You need to kill him when he doesn't have any more to say.

It was an accident. I brought the turret with myself because I thought it will be useful later (it was). When I placed the turret it was facing the teleporter and it killed Eli, LOL.

By the way it was shooting Judith Mossman a little bit before, but only through a bulletproof glass, so she survived.

so what time line does this ♥♥♥♥ up?
pre half life alyx (eli dies) or post half life alyx (Eli lives after alyx makes a deal with the gman)?
