Cannot Find HL2 Model Folder

I cannot seam to find where all the mdl files are for props and things in the game. I looked in the model folder in the "steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\models" folder but there in nothing there exept a few mdl's for weapons. Anyone know where to find the prop models?

Install GCFScape and open hl2_pak_dir.vpk found at:
Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Half-Life 2 \ hl2
Look for the models folder inside.
