Tacking all those features onto HL2 just looks like a waste of time tbf. Im happy with just leaving the game as is....valves vision from 2004. This looks so far from HL2 that it might as well be another product IMO.

I may be a bit of a "purist" here, but all the post processing, animation changes, and completely useless visual additions such as sprint animations and inspection, as well as the gameplay changes and weapon changes, and horrible balance breakers like slow motion all just look like nothing more than a highly bloated Gmod installation. (No offense to the mod creator trying to add more, just not what I'm looking for is all and I'm not a fan of that kind of mod)

I want HL2+the Episodic games attached in a seamless launcher, with slightly better models, textures, and lighting with the longtime bugs fixed, nothing mote past that, which is what Filip Victor is working on

As if I don't have enough trouble trying to get the gun I need during a firefight.

And that kick is right out of Postal 2, it even uses the same sound. Unless I can pee on enemies after setting them on fire, I'm not interested.

honestly feels too modern for me, i prefer feeling like im playing a more classic game when playing half life 2
i think the style of these mods fits black mesa but i just get a "wrong" feeling in my gut when playing it for hl2

nobody cares.
what matters in the end is the product itself. the source could be the worse mf on earth, but even then it would not guarantee the quality of the mod.

Oh god, after checking in response to this...this mod is gonna be horrible...it's the creator of the single worst Source mod ever created, Arctic Adventures. Yes, the mod that's legit 2x worse than Hunt Down the Freeman in every way.
