Thanks for your reply regardless.
Although I have to say what a pittyful shame so his face on the horizon is forced down the road. No for real though how could they not implement a feature where this is possible? Especially after if you've already done it? Seems kind of normal to have that in games nowadays but I guess everybody has the right to forget though how does such a crucial thing not get added by our beloved company, just a little bit of a shame.
Do still old steam games like this get updated? I know it's over a decade old but the update downloads in my opinion aren't it (like it's just there to try and convince us that there is an update when not in fact I don't know what else to think about that)
I realize this speedrun may not be the most convenient for a heart to heart...
It ain't what you think it is in terms of the pace I am playing with the game and actually I am the exact opposite, if it was recorded it would be called more of a longplay especially since I spend hours playing just the demo itself.:-D And referring back from heart to heart if you mean with my love for the game it's actually growing since I had the chance to play this game as a child but I didn't so now as an adult I still love these old graphics games and love exploring older games I might have not had the chance to play much, still rocking my "PS2 half life CD 1" over here I don't know if you guys remember those special editions of the game.
I'll watch it I've decided thanks for the comments guys no worries
Like I said if I can't do anything about it I am pretty sure I mentioned I'd just wait and so I've done it I did my part and waited
Topic closed guys no need for more replies and thanks so much for all the help!
host_timescale 10
then after done...; host_timescale 1
never tried during cutscene idk if console will even open but thats one way if it do work
You can also create binds to do the following:
bind <key> "sv_cheats 1; host_timescale 6" (fast forward/skip things)
bind <key> "sv_cheats 1; host_timescale 1" (go back to normal)
bind <key> "sv_cheats 1; noclip" (explains itself)
And for a bit of fun or if you want to try experimenting with getting through other cutscenes or scripted sequences faster:
bind <key> "sv_cheats 1; impulse 203" (deletes whatever is in your crosshair)
NOOOO, DON'T SKIP THE BORING DIALOGUE, MUH FACIAL ANIMATIONS!1!!
