I don't think I would be able to stoop that low. Even if necessity forced me to do it, I would betray the combine at the first good opportunity to do so. If my family was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ starving and they seemed like the best bet for making the country better, then yes, like most people in Germany I probably would have. Ofc we know in retrospect what the German people were signing themselves up for but that the time they had no idea.
