Strider Battle Help

I'm at the part in Follow Freeman where you fight the striders in the plaza, but I don't have enough ammo to kill them, I've been to both places where I know there's rockets. I changed my difficulty to easy and I still can't kill them with all the rockets I can find, I am usually only able to kill one of the three. Is there any way to defeat them or skip this part?

There is a box of rockets that will give you more than enough

In the main courtyard, there's a crate of rockets to resupply you, it's like a little tunnel or rumble passage iirc.

You have to make your way to and under the monument at the center of the square. On your way out run past the fence then right. To the left of the rubble and under the roofed walkway there's a launcher crate along with fire cover.

Be aware you don't have to confront any of the walkers in the square, only the combine blocking your XP.
