How Do I configure Hammer to a different game?

So the hammer editor for HL2 is for the episodic and Half Life Source, and HL2. How do I switch the game for hammer? I tried going into "options" and I can change the game. Except I can only switch to Half Life 2. There are no other games.

I just want to edit HL2 Episode 1 or 2, not just Half Life 2. Hammer is stuck like that.

How? I actually did do that. I made one saying "Half-Life: Source" restarted hammer, and still did not work. I switched it to Half Life Source, and I also changed the textures to whatever "Half-Life (random letters here)"

as of 2013, hammer.exe has to be launched from the bin directory

I have been doing that since I learned of mapping, I just want to edit multiple games with the same type of source engine as HL2. Like Half life 2 episode 2, and episode 1. I want to mess with those as well as Half life Source. I am unable to edit those games. Only Half Life 2.

the hammer.exe in bin should let you select hl2, episode 1, or episode 2
but i dont think it shows an option for hls unless im misremembering

Yeah it does not show an option for HLS. but i cannot access episode 1 and 2 for some reason.

steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\bin\

?
does the option for ep1 and ep2 show up at all? or do they show up but you cant click them?or do they show up and you can click them but it still wont run? and if so what error message do you get

So I click on hammer.exe Then it shows up. No options at all. Just hammer simply pops up. I have episode 1 and 2, Episode 2 isnt installed, but episode one is. Maybe I need both.
