How To Turn On Ironsights (MMOD)

Make a keybind in the Half Life 2 settings for ironsights, I have mine set to MOUSE2, and my secondary action as MOUSE4, a side button on a gaming mouse

open the console (you have to enable it first in options>keyboard>advanced>enable developer console) and type the following:

bind mouse2 +ironsight

i used mouse2 (right click) since it's my preferred default for modern shooters, and rebound alt. attack to mouse 5 (one of the side buttons on my mouse), but the default is mouse3 (mouse wheel click) which doesn't make much sense to me since it's not also toggle by default but hold...

anyway, hope that helps x years later ;)

when i turn on ironsights it zooms instead
