How to install re-skins from Game Banana

I bought Half Life 2 a while ago, and I played it a few years back. Now I decided to play it again, but this time i'm wanting to use re-skins.

I heard of a website called Game Banana, which from what I know is a place to get re-skins for lots of source games like CSS or TF2. I have never used the website, so I have no knowledge on how to install mods.

What I would like to know is how to install re-skins from Game Banana, any help will do.

How to add Custom Content into Half-Life 2[gamebanana.com]

First you need to create a Custom folder in your hl2 folder like so:
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\custom\

Then, in this folder, you place your mod. For example:
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\custom\cooler_rpgv2\

This folder should contain folders like models, materials, scripts, etc. Depends on the mod.

Voila. It is that simple
