>pretty much most of chapter water hazard because its just using a hovercraft to go through repetitive boring linear toxic waste tunnels and areas.
>like one third of nova prospekt since again gets repetitive and there's a crap ton of turrets and guards that keep shooting at you.
>almost half of anticitizen one and follow freeman as the city is just yucky and the difficulty spike increases with several unfair or frustrating parts.
>maybe like parts of ravenholm and the second chapter i didnt really like due to the tight layout and huge number of enemies, especially ones that are annoying.
- entanglement was somewhat annoying because of the 2 part where you have to fight alot of combine but the turrets made it less annoying
- nova prospekt was annoying mostly because of the turrets
- route kanal wasn't too bad but one time i had 8 health and the metro police were hard to kill but i found some medkits and suit batteries and completed it
- dark engery was kind of annoying but not too bad
thats all
edit: and the only thing i like about anti citizen one is the part where the rebels pull down the tv and thats saying something
i like nothing about follow freeman
and in anti citizen one and follow freeman the city is all destroyed HOW DARE THE STRIDERS RUIN A PERFECTLY GOOD CITY IM REMOVING THEM FROM MY PROFILE PICTURE
If so, Defending the base and rocket from the striders and hunters was by far my least favorite part of all of hl2, and the episodes.
Pretty difficult to take out hunters without a box of rockets anywhere and basically you have to try to run them over in the Charger. Either you end up missing them because of the funky car physics, you hit a strider's leg and surrounded by them, or end up hitting a bump and getting stuck on a hill.
Sometimes those bombs would just fly off the strider before a chance to shoot it. wouldn't be a problem if there weren't so many heccin hunters.
Only took me about fifteen tries.
OK, reality bit*h slap, you exist in a dystopian world where for the last 20+ yrs an “alien” occupation force has been sucking the life and blood from it. To make matters worse, (lemon juice in an open wound) a 2nd world’s mostly hostile émigrés have been dragged along with them. For the most part at least half of humanity has been extinguished and those left behind have been dragged back to a pre industrial existence to which most are ill equipped to accept let alone survive in. Oh yeah, humanity is hunted for slave labor, a food source and may become zombie Uber rides for symbiotic parasites.
Heed the prophetic words of Lil Orphan Annie, “It’s a Hard Knock Life”
Worst chapters, 1, 2 and 5 because they were boring
