Any Realistic HL2 Mods?

I'd like to play Half Life 2 again, but with a twist.
Is there a mod that makes the game harder and more realistic?

I'm looking for something that adds Food, Water and Sleep needs. And makes the combine much harder to fight, ammo more scarce. Basically a fight for survival.

no it would just be a desperate and tedious attempt to stretch the game out more

half life 2 is a linear arcade shooter
you shoot bad guys in a linear arcade shooter
an arcade shooter isnt ment to be realistic
the levels are also designed for you guessed it a linear arcade shooter
the game making you search for loot makes it a tedious and boring mechanic that no one would like

Also I would suggest looking at Gary's Mod as they have what seems like thousands of servers and hundreds of different versions of games from the Half Life universe to Star Wars, zombies in general, World War 2, Terminator, etc. Those are more roleplaying or sand box games I think, as I have hardly scratched the surface and still do not really know much about it. But I know they have certain rules and they may have something you are looking for. It is not free, as it used to be a Half Life 2 mod, before it went stand alone. It is also not part of Valve so even on the Super Summer and Winter Sales you wont be able to buy it for just a dollar as most other Valve titles, but you should be able to pick it up for about $10 even now and I say that is a very good deal for all the free content that comes with it.

You can also build your own world and if you know how to code or alter code, you may well be able to make the game of your dreams. It uses assets from other games as well, and not all need to be bought, as some games allow for use of items and what not. I myself would not mind a game where lack of food, water and sleep would make you more aggro or tired and weaker in some ways, less accurate and more fatigue. Or uncleanliness leads to sickness and being weaker, etc.

Alternatively you can look through over 450 released mods for Half Life 2 on your own and see if anything catches your fancy. And as someone else pointed out Smod has a LOT of added content.
