HL2 + Remote Play Together

Have anyone tested it? I haven't got around it yet. I assume you'll just get to watch your friend playing instead like other games that have coop mode.

Base Half-Life 2 does not have coop. It is possible to enable it through the developer console. However, this is very buggy. It might be better to play a coop mod. These use a customized version of Half-Life 2: Deathmatch.

There are 2 coop mods of note: Obsidian conflict and Synergy. Obsidian Conflict is no longer being maintained and is not guaranteed to work. Synergy is still being worked on, though, and can be downloaded from Steam:

Nice. Thanks, man! I'm just getting into these. Do you know if Synergy will ever work with MMod? And by any chance do you know if there's any mods out there to play coop on CS:CZ Deleted Scenes?

You can install metamod source and sourcemod on a synergy server

But what if I want to play through the RPT? I don't need co-op in this case I just want to share the game and see how my friend plays it, but I don't need to share all my library with "Family".
