¿Where is located the sounds from half life 2?

Hello i want to search something strange sounds but in the folder i searched and nothing
Please put the location

Look in the hl2 folders. You'll find some music folders

And I told you the steps on where the sound folder is located. Read more closely..

To see the sound files (and most others) you will need to download and install GCFScape:
https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/GCFScape

Use it to open the "pack" file:
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\hl2_sound_misc_dir.vpk
(or one of the other "_dir" files).

hey, im pretty late but i wasnt able to figure out how to get to steamapps. is it in appdata and then you dig deeper from there?

okay so scratch that, i found out how. but when i press the "sound" folder it brings me to a single file named "sound.cache". do i dig deeper from there? if so, how can i open cache files if possible?

Guys its unicode its on everyones computer lol it doesnt mean that if u have 20000 different characters mean u speak every language possible, its just his keyboard is espagnol
