There aren't really any near City 17, the closest one is over one hundred miles away. That one is very similar to City 17, just a little bit different architecture.

Same thing that happened everywhere, many areas are decimated and a lot of the population is consolidated into cities. They've got their own Resistance cell over there though that we talked to before the street wars.

Very sour, which is not how I want my meat to taste, it almost hurts to eat. However, you can live off of it if you really need to.

Gordon for both, but if we're excluding him then my favorite person at Black Mesa would have been Otis, while he was pretty dumb, he'd have your back. My favorite person currently is Alyx, just because she's really good at killing Combine, almost as good as me anyways.

Anyone above the rank of Metrocop I can't be friends with, given that they've lost their humanity, and I didn't really have friends in Civil Protection, just some buddies. The Combine knows I'm in the Resistance now, but it doesn't really matter right now since we're in ll out war with them.

Kind of, there re some areas they see no strategic value in so they ignore them, but a lot of areas have most definitely been affected by the Combine's harm to the planet. Lakes drying up, wildlife dying, invasive species from Xen and other places have definitely hurt the planet.

Otis is an alright guy, I wouldn't say we were friends but we got along just fine and he was one of my favorite guys to be around. I know he survived Black Mesa and the war, but he's in the states and I haven't talked to the guy in months and currently I don't have any way to contact him.

The AR2 shoots off energy from these little cylinders which are autoloaded by the gun, but these aren't infinite, it needs new ones eventually which Combine and Rebels put into the gun when they need to.

Why can you find strange crescent-shaped mags full of pulse ammo, but the AR2 never needs to switch out? Barney said himself they aren't infinite.
