If you listen you can hear the PS taxi breathing long before you see it, GG any heavy object at the Taxi, quickly reacquire and slam it again to kill it and all PS riding it. Or you can stand off at a distance wait for a PS to jump then dodge and rush the taxi for a couple slams

Well, they can't kill you if you're on Easy.

Poison Headcrabs can't kill you at all. They just bring your health down to 1. It's all up to the other monsters at that point.

Just replace the audio files and you won't fear them any more. Mine sound like dark elves from morrowind.

While this is totally true overall, I'd say it wasn't so much the enemy itself rather than the encounter. And by encounter, I mean muddy, totally opaque body of water. An environment, area, with a whole buch of different rules and disadvantages for the player. Brr.
