Half-Life 2 at school
I need advice. I have a web design class and I got a ton of games on my school pc, and I was wondering how to get Half-Life 2 to run. I keep getting told that access to hl2.exe is denied. I am running the game using a batch file since Steam is blocked. Would I need to unblock it through the file properties? I can give myself administrator mode using certain computers, so I can unblock it. But I was wondering if there is a less risky way to get the game up and running.

Can't start it without steam, DRM lock makes it so you can't open it without the correct account and steam. I suggest pirating and putting on a disk.
