Interstellar Pilot 2

no money, no ship ... no future
Hello, I started the game, bought a base ship and with no money in my account I went into space. I picked up some quests, they earned me about 7k money and during one quest I was killed by an enemy ship. From a bar I went to the shipyard and there even the cheapest ship without equipment costs more than I have. So I tried gambling, but the tickets didn't win anything. What now? How to make money on a basic ship without a boat? Can you just start from scratch? That's kind of unfortunate...

All games have a "lose" possibility, not sure why losing makes you uninstall but that seems like a very "un-gamer" mentality.

No problem, time is precious and is to many games ... enjoy life

Hello, it might have sounded a bit harsh, but it wasn't meant that way. I just got frustrated at that moment that I had invested my time into something that didn't lead to anything... that's all.

You do know that this can happen in many games where its possible to lose in any way? Hell, you seem to have Elden Ring and a few other games where defeats can, while not game ending, ruin hours of work.

This is still hilarious after the 10th time of reading it. The game doesn't have a story and jumps from you being a peon to a god ruining the economy within an hour.

Be a refinery owner. Sell your first ships. Put all money into the small mining ships. Only allow them to stay within the sector. Stay on your refinery, hypersleep until you have enough money to buy another ship. Keep doing it until you're station is overflowing with goods. Start sending out Haulers with goods to sell. Save up money to either build a station allowing you to buy a magnus x or just buy one from another faction. I dont know if stealing them still works from interstellar pilot 1. Max out that ships cloak, engines, and weaponry. Build a fleet around it. Pick a victim, uncloak, fire a couple shots, cloak, let your fleet destroy the enemy. You could also spam turrets all over the sector your home base is in and around the wormholes into and out of each sector. I literally get to a point where I just get notifications of ships getting destroyed from other factions all over the galaxy and I am god.

You're really not missing much but, if you like that type of gameplay its fun. I play for maybe a week at a time get bored play something else, then come back.
I personally got a good start with the scratch ticket minigame. I chose the character with the most money, sold my starter ship and gambled the credits up to 1.8 mill creds and used that to buy a cruiser and built a support fleet and a hauler fleet with two back up fighters. Been having a great time and just beginning to start empire building and conquering. Really wish the dev would update with more content, a campaign, some side missions or stories, multiplayer or coop would be nice too. Sorry for the necro post!
