Can't load a saved game
Trying to "resume" or load a saved game, the game stays in that particular menu. The game appears to have loaded behind the menu because I if click outside of menu buttons, the character can move and interact with things if I blindly manage to hit something. But the menu stays on.

I can start a new game (which I won't be doing) but loading either one of the last two saves from last night gets me stuck in the menu. The one from hours before can be loaded normally.

Hello,

That's a very strange issue, so it would be helpful to know on which platform you are playing the game and also if you send your save games to our customer support (you can contact them via https://www.daedalicsupport.com/en/support-formular/ ). How sending savegames works, depends on which platform you play the game on.

Hi and thanks for a very swift answer. I'm playing on PC, got the game on GOG. I will follow the instructions.

And btw, I'm a huge fan of Daedelic's adventure games, second to the Lucasarts classics only - and not even all of them.

We are happy to hear that.
On PC the savegames are stored inside the Harvey folder, which can be found under C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment, so you can send them, by creating a zip file from the folder and attach it to the email.
So is there going to be patch coming up for the problem? Sent my save games back in December, haven't heard back yet.

Since the game is already a bit older and the most recent update was released a while back, it's unfortunately unlikely that there will be a patch soon.
I'm currently checking though, if I can somehow get the savegames working again.

When you sent your savegames in December, most people in the company (including me) were on holidays and currently they are catching up with what came up during the holidays.

That'd be great. I appreciate you trying, thanks.
